How are we getting there?
Phase I: Business Continuity and maintaining customer experience
Phase I is focused on Stabilization or what we call 1+1=2. Corporate Functions will blend. This applies for the LED Business Unit of Inventronics and the Business Unit Digital Systems from OSRAM:
– Systems remain largely independent
– Organizational reporting largely unchanged
– Job functions in the business units remain unchanged
– Only the corporate functions and responsibilities centrally assigned
Phase II: Optimization
In Phase II we accelerate the efforts to accomplish more together than we could possibly accomplish separately:
– The BUs are the value creation engines and will be focused on target applications largely based on historic strengths
– These value creating BUs must be nimble and responsive to the market and the strategic customers
– Operational portions of the business will be shared across the BUs to facilitate the necessary scale in a maturing market
